BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland will play 25 regular-season games with three tournaments highlighting the preseason lineup before the Greyhounds enter Patriot League play in mid-September.
Head Coach
Alija Pittenger and the Greyhounds will begin their 2024 campaign in Wilmington, North Carolina, at the UNCW Invitational from August 30-31 where they will face Queens, host UNC Wilmington and East Carolina.
The season's second weekend will see Loyola head up Interstate 95 to Philadelphia for the Villanova Classic with matches on September 5 and 6 against the Wildcats, Princeton and Old Dominion.
Following those three contests, the Greyhounds close non-conference play September 13-14 by staying near home for the Tiger Invitational. First up will be a date with host Towson before Loyola squares off against Seton Hall and Coppin State.
Conference play commences on September 20 with a home match against American, and the Greyhounds then host Navy two days later.
The Patriot League schedule will see teams playing in a double round-robin format with each playing the other eight twice.
A home match on November 15 against Bucknell closes the regular-season for the Greyhounds, and the the six-team Patriot League Championships run November 19-24.
