Loyola Unviersity Maryland golf will close its the fall portion of its 2025-26 schedule this weekend when it competes in the Monterrey Collegiate Classic for the third year in a row.

The Greyhounds and 11 other teams will play in the 54-hole event at Club Campestere Monterrey starting on Friday, October 24. Teams will play 27 holes each day with the second round split between Friday and Saturday.

Loyola first played in the tournament in October 2023, tying for fourth. The Greyhounds returned to Mexico last year for the tournament and were second out of 12 teams. 

Jackson Roman has a pair of top-five finishes at the event, tying for third as a junior in 2023 and for fifth last year. He is joined in the Greyhounds' lineup this week by Gustavo Rangel, Lorenzo Sanz, Dustin Stocksdale and Eli Spaulding. Matt Carpentier will play as an individual for Loyola.
