BOSTON –
Lauryn Clarke qualified for the 60-meter finals on Saturday at the ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships and took seventh overall in the event as Loyola University Maryland kicked off competition at the event this weekend.
Clarke ran 7.63 seconds in the preliminaries, tied for the 10th-best time in school history, and she then was seventh in the final at 7.70.
Gabby Snowden was 14th in the event in 7.79.
Kat Zysk finished 18th in the 800 meters, running a personal-best time of 2:14.04;
Claire Griffin was 32nd in 2:18.89.
In the 200 meters, Clarke was 11th in preliminary qualifying at 24.88 seconds, while Snowden and
Caroline Blakeslee were 21st and 36th, respectively, in 25.17 and 25.69 seconds. Snowden's time was a personal-best, as was her 60-meter finish.
Loyola will continue competition at the event on Sunday.
