Marist defeated the Loyola University Maryland men's and women's tennis teams in non-conference action Friday at the McClure Tennis Center, earning a 4‑0 victory on the women's side and a 4‑0 win in the men's match.
In the women's match, Marist secured the doubles point by winning two of three contests. Viktoria Lorentzon and Tessa Wachtel defeated Christine Richiez and Emma Roeck, 6‑0, at No. 1 doubles, while Cloe Clements‑Sorde and Lola Ungerman earned a 6‑4 victory over Mia Matriccino and Victoria Epps at No. 3. Loyola's doubles win came at No. 2, where Emi Shivkumar and Elena Hartley defeated Caterina Assi and Vihana Shresta, 6‑2.
