Women's Soccer Visits Georgetown Friday

Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola College women's soccer team looks to earn its first win of the season Friday when it travels to Georgetown for a 12:00 game. The `Hounds are 0-3-0 on the season while the Hoyas are 1-1-2.

Loyola, who topped Georgetown 3-1 when the teams met last season, is still looking for its first win after losses to Arizona State, Saint Louis and No. 1(Soccer America) Florida State last week. Carolyn Kennington and Courtney Arikian have a goal each while Theresa Ferraina has an assist. Freshman Brittany Henderson has started all three games in goal posting a 3.00 goals-against average and a .526 saves percentage.

Georgetown is coming of its first win, a 2-1 overtime decision over Duquense. The Hoyas are led by Chrissy Skogen's two goals while Karen Waskewich has three assists. Jade Higgins posts a goals-against average of 1.33.

Friday's game is set for a 12:00 start.
