CATONSVILLE, Md. – Loyola University Maryland evened the match a one set apiece by hitting .419 to win the second, but James Madison came back to win the match, 27-25, 16-25, 25-18, 25-13 on Friday afternoon in the teams' first match at the Charm City Challenge.

Loyola posted 18 kills with just five errors on 31 points in the second set, scoring 22 of its 25 points by adding an
Alaina Acchione ace and three total blocks. The Greyhounds also sided out at a 75 percent clip in the set.

The Dukes (6-2 overall) came back in the third, however, putting away 17 kills of their own to pull away for the victory. They then hit .368 in the fourth and sided out 84 percent of the time.

Abby Hamilton and
Haley Puddy led Loyola with 15 kills each, while
Ann Ernst had 10.
Alisah Cash had a team-best five total blocks, while
Molly Werts posted 22 assists and 18 digs.
Katie Forsythe added 15 digs.

The Greyhounds (4-4) are back in action at 5 p.m. when they play Robert Morris University in the tournament at UMBC.
