BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland women's soccer alum Ali Andrzejewski is one of five standouts who will enter the Maryland State Athletic Hall of Fame this November as part of the organization's 60th induction class.

Andrzejewski joined the Greyhounds as a transfer from Maryland prior to the 2004 season, and she went on to have two of the most productive offensive seasons in program history while leading the team to a record of 31-9 (18-0 MAAC) during the 2004 and 2005 campaigns. She will be inducted along with Steve Krulevitz (Tennis), Rob Shek (Lacrosse), Mark Teixeira (Baseball) and Walt Williams (Basketball).

In her first year at Loyola, Andrzejewski set single-season records in goals (18) and points (43) which still stand today. The Greyhounds went 16-4 that season in the final season of current head coach Joe Mallia's first stint with the program, and they claimed a fifth-consecutive MAAC tournament championship.

Andrzejewski added 15 goals and two assists as a senior the following fall, with Loyola finishing 15-5 (9-0 MAAC) and topping the conference regular season standings for a seventh-straight year. Her 32 points in 2005 rank third in single-season program history.

Despite playing only two seasons at Loyola, Andrzejewski is third all-time with 75 career points (33 G, 9 A). She is second in team history in career goals, and she tops the record books in goals per game (0.82).

The 60th annual Maryland State Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Nov. 7, 2019 at Martin's West in Baltimore.
