BETHLEHEM, Pa. –
Olivia Malley ran a personal-best time for the second day in a row and was runner-up in the 800 meters at the 2023 Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championships, leading the Loyola University Maryland team at the event.
Malley finished in 2:09.75, holding off Navy's Alexandra Wercinski by seven-tenths of a second for second place in the race.
She scored for the Greyhounds on Saturday, as did the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay teams which were both seventh. Loyola finished ninth overall with 14 points.

Lauryn Clarke,
Taylor McHugh and
Madelyn Ricard ran the 4x100 in 48.27 seconds, and Clarke, Malley, McHugh and
Ajia Morrison finished the 4x400 in 3:55.09 for the pair of seventh-place finishes.
Sammie Spargo raced to a 16
th-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, running 11:57.51, while
Meghan Leonard was two spots behind in 12:00.20.
Abby Potticary was 20
th in the 5,000 meters in 17:49.51, and
Isabella Coleman took 23
rd in 18:10.06.
