GREENSBORO, N.C. – Loyola University Maryland swimming and diving closed its stay at the Greensboro Aquatic Center Saturday night on a golden note with the men's 400 freestyle relay team taking first in the final relay of the meet.

Brennan Coyle and
Henry Mueller swam 2:55.88 to hold off Purdue University's relay by one-third of a second.
The gold was the second of the championships for the Greyhounds. Loyola's men's 400 medley relay won its event on Thursday night.
Overall, Loyola brings home nine medals from the Championships.
Joe Hayburn nearly had another individual medal on Saturday, finishing fourth in 1:43.36 in the 200 backstroke. Mueller was seventh in the 'B' final of the event, and
JD Moyer took 26
th in the preliminaries.
Lily Mead was fourth in the 'B' final of the 200 backstroke in 1:58.11 after going 1:57.53 in the preliminaries.
Cameron Shinnick tied for fourth in the men's 200 butterfly, swimming 1:49.37 in the prelims and 1:49.69 in the night final.
Harry Hearn was close behind in the 'B' final, swimming 1:50.06 in the final after going 1:49.49 in the prelims.
Luke Dwyer swam 1:52.46 in the morning prelims.
Alex Plavoukos took 17
th in the men's 1,650 freestyle, and two Greyhounds swam in the men's 100 freestyle.
Patrick Hayburn was 31
st in the preliminaries in 44.91, and
Brennan Coyle took second in the 'C' final with a time of 44.41
Loyola divers competed at UMBC's Cats and Dogs Meet on Saturday.
Thomas McCarthy scored 266.25 points for fourth,
Sam Hersick was sixth with 229.15, and John Holman scored 128.40 for ninth in the 1-meter diving.
