Adams, Ricard Earn Academic All-Patriot League Recognition

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Jamie Adams and Madelyn Ricard were named to the Academic All-Patriot League team for indoor track and field on Friday in recognition for their work on the track and in the classroom.

Adams, who is majoring in information systems and data analytics, finished fourth in the 200 meters at last weekend's Patriot League Championships. That performance matched teammate Lauryn Clarke for the best finish by a Loyola sprinter at the meet since the Greyhounds joined the conference in 2013-14.

The sophomore from Columbia, Maryland, set school indoor records in the 300 and 400 meters during the 2023-24 indoor season, and she holds the five fastest indoor 200-meter times in school history.

Ricard competed in two events at the Patriot League Championships, running in the preliminaries of the 60 and 200 meters where she was 18th and 27th.

The business marketing major, who is minoring in information systems and data analytics, had a personal-best time of 7.98 seconds in the 60 at the Patriot League meet, and her 200 PR came in the Greyhounds final pre-Championships meet when she ran 26.72 at the Navy Select Meet.
