Bethlehem -- The Patriot League announced their weekly players of the week on Monday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's Baylee DeSmit and Renee Wanzor earned weekly awards. 

This is DeSmit's second Offensive Player of the Week this season, while this is Wanzor's first weekly award. 

DeSmit assisted the lone Greyhounds goal in their 1-1 draw against Wagner on Thursday evening. She followed it up with her fourth game-winner of the season on Sunday, as the senior forward scored the game-winning goal in the second half off of a penalty kick. She drew the foul in the box before converting the ensuing penalty kick. The win gave Monmouth, who was ranked No. 10 in the United Soccer Coaches East Region Rankings, their first loss of the season. 

Wanzor played a key roll on the Greyhounds back line, as the played 112 minutes over the two games. She helped Loyola keep their two opponents to a combined one goal between the two games. She also helped hold Monmouth scoreless despite recording 20 shots in the Loyola win. 

The Greyhounds begin conference play on Saturday as they will host Boston at 12:00 PM.
