Loyola University Maryland's golf team will play in a 30-team field against some of the nation's best competition this week when it heads to Northern California for The Goodwin.
The Greyhounds will play in Stanford's tournament starting on Thursday, March 27, with 54 holes over a three-day span. Loyola will start Thursday's first round at 7:05 a.m. (PDT) and play with competitors from Washington State, Cal Poly and UC Davis.
The Goodwin's field includes 13 teams ranked in the nation's top 50 of the Scoreboard by Clipped rankings.
Michael Crowley, Gustavo Rangel, Jackson Roman, Eli Spaulding and Dustin Stocksdale will compete for Loyola at the event. The Greyhounds have finished in the top five of seven of their eight events this season and have top-seven finishes in all eight.
