BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland golfers
Mike Crowley and
Jackson Roman were selected to the PING All-Northeast Region time on Saturday, marking the second time in each's career receiving the recognition.
The two helped the Greyhounds win their seventh Patriot League Championship since joining the conference in 2013-14 and Loyola's 24
th conference title since 1990.
Crowley and Roman led Loyola in scoring average over the course of the 2024-25 season as it finished in the top five of eight of its 12 tournaments in 2024-25 with the Patriot League title and four second-place finishes.
The Greyhounds bid to the NCAA Regionals was their 13th all-time trip to NCAA competition.
Crowley led Loyola with a 72.5 adjusted scoring average and had six top-20 finishes this season, including posting the school's second-best finish ever at an NCAA Regional when he tied for 20th at Auburn.
Roman was just one-tenth of a stroke behind Crowley in adjusted scoring average at 72.6 after a season with four top-10 finishes in tournaments during the year.
The All-Region Award is the second of both players' careers after Crowley was honored in 2023 and Roman the following year.
