Loyola Univeristy Maryland's golf team heads to Goodyear, Arizona, for a three-day, 54-hole tournament starting on Sunday, February 15. The Greyhounds are hosting the 14th-annual Loyola Intercollegiate at Palm Valley Golf Course.
Nineteen teams will join the Greyhounds at the 7,015-yard, par-72 course for 18 holes on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday with shotgun starts slated each day for 7:45 a.m. The tournament features a play-five, count-four format and individuals from each program.
The Greyhounds will start six players are the event with Jackson Roman, Liam Moloney, Gustavo Rangel, Eli Spaulding and Diego Neira competing for the team tournament; Lorenzo Sanz will play as an individual.
The Loyola Intercollegiate is the first tournament of the spring for the Greyhounds after wrapping up a fall season with three top-five finishes, a team title at The Goat hosted by the U.S. Naval Acacdemy, and five top-10 team finishes.
