BETHLEHEM, Pa. –
Kayleigh Caggiano and
Nathan Galloway led the Loyola University Maryland women's and men's cross country teams Saturday as the Greyhounds finished 22
nd and 43
rd, respectively, on Saturday afternoon at the Paul Short Run.
Caggiano took 58
th in the women's race, running 22:13.3 across the 6,000-meter course.
Mary Sutton also logged a top-100 finish for Loyola, coming in 99
th in 22:40.5.
Abby Potticary was 131st in 22:52.4, and
Kelly Williamson finished 149th (22:56.7).
Grayce Heinemann was 188th (23:15.8), and
Audrey O'Neill finished 251st (23:54.8).
Kate Ragone (264th, 24:05.5) and
Sydney Votruba (292nd, 24:28.2) rounded out the Loyola women's group.
Galloway had a strong performance to lead the men's team with an 81
st-place finish, covering the 8,000 meters in 25:35.6.
John Schuerger was the second Loyola runner across the line in 289th (27:00.2), and
Patrick Cropsey was the next in 308th (27:15.8); he was followed by
Brandon Rossi (346th, 27:58.0),
Charlie Dillon (359th, 28:17.6) ,
Spencer Askine (361st, 28:21.0) and
Alex Schueller (383rd, 29:44.4).
Jordyn Pugh (209
th, 24:42.6),
Chloe Sobchak (260th, 25:22.6),
Caite O'Hehir (302nd, 25:51.7),
Marissa Branham (326th, 26:09.6),
Julia Vledder (337th, 26:21.5) and
Hope Pinsonault (352nd, 26:40.4) also competed for Loyola in the women's open race.
