WEST POINT, N.Y. – Loyola University Maryland's women's track and field team had a final tune-up before this weekend's ECAC Championships, running at a cold and wind Army West Point Twilight Meet on Thursday night.
Senna Ohlsson continued her strong season in the 800 meters, finishing fourth in 2:08.57, a personal-best time and the No. 2 performance in school history that was just five-hundredths of a second off the school-record set last year by
Cordelia McGinn.
Grayce Heinemann also competed in the event, running 2:20.36 to take 21
st.
Heather Merrifield and
Devon Terwilliger both put up performances that ranked in the top-nine in school 400-meter hurdles history. Merrifield won the race in 60.42, the second-fastest time, while Terwilliger's time of 62.90 was fourth and ninth-best.
Kayleigh Caggiano finished 11
th in the 1,500 meters, running 4:36.74, No. 5 all-time at Loyola.
