BRONX, N.Y. – Loyola University Maryland's men's and women's cross country teams both finished 12
th on Friday at the Iona College Meet of Championships in Van Cortland Park.
Kayleigh Caggiano was 54
th in the women's race, and
Nathan Galloway 86
th for the men to lead the Greyhounds.
Caggiano covered the women's 5,000-meter course in 19:27.7, while
Abby Potticary and
Grayce Heinemann were just over a half-minute behind to place 81
st (20:02.0) and 83
rd (20:05.2), respectively.
Mary Sutton,
Kelly Williamson and
Audrey O'Neill came in as a pack at 98
th (20:29.8), 100
th (20:34.1) and 101
st (20:34.2).
Kate Ragone finished 106
th (20:43.9), and
Sydney Votruba was 122
nd (21:45.3), while
Jordyn Pugh took 130

Julia Vledder crossed the line in 139

In the men's race, Galloway led the way with a time of 27:44.2 over 8,000 meters.

Patrick Cropsey rounded out the Greyhounds' scoring in 111
