CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Twenty-three members of the Loyola University Maryland men's and women's cross country teams were named to the patriot League Academic Honor Roll on Thursday, a recognition of excellence in the classroom during the fall semester.

Seven men's team members and 16 student-athletes on the women's side received the honor. The qualifications for this prestigious acknowledgment require student-athletes to have a minimum of a 3.20 grade-point average during the semester of their competition season.Â

Nathan Galloway,
Julia Vledder and
Kelly Williamson led the teams with a trio of perfect 4.0 GPAs. The women's team GPA for the fall, 3.625, was the third-highest among Loyola's 18 intercollegiate teams.
