Senna Ohlsson added another first to her catalog of honors on Sunday, becoming Loyola University Maryland's initial ECAC Indoor Track and Field Champion when she set a school record while winning the 800-meter title.

The junior, who has won the last two Patriot League indoor championships and the 2019 outdoor crown in the event, ran a time of 2:07.07 to break the record she set a day earlier (2:07.94) in Saturday's preliminaries.

Acosta, but Ohlsson raced a final 200 that was almost a second faster than anyone else in the race, and she came back to beat Acosta by 12-hundredths of a second.

The victory made her the second Loyola track and field runner to win an ECAC title after her teammate,
Heather Merrifield, won the outdoor 400-meter hurdles title last year.

Merrifield ran, as well, on Sunday and took 10
th in the 500 meters in 1:15.29, the seventh-best time in school history.

The duo also helped the Greyhounds' 4x400-meter relay team score in the final on Sunday. Loyola finished eighth in 3:48.37, the second-fastest time in school history.

Olivia Malley led off the relay, and Ohlsson then ran a leg of 56.89 seconds before Merrifield took the baton and ran 56.79.

Courtney Kenny then ran the fastest time of the day for the Greyhounds, clocking an anchor leg of 56.03 to move Loyola into eighth place.

The Greyhounds' 4x800-meter relay team finished ninth in the final as
Kayleigh Caggiano,
Grayce Heinemann,
Jordyn Pugh and
Carly Spinnler ran 9:15.77, the eight-best time in school history.
