Joe Hayburn reached the B Final of the 50-meter backstroke on Thursday, topping the Loyola University Maryland contingent's performances at the Toyota U.S. Open Championships.
The Greyhounds junior finished fifth in 25.64 after swimming 25.60 to finish 12th in the morning preliminaries.
Brennan Coyle and
Michael Venit raced in the 50-meter breaststroke prelims, taking 31st (28.75) and and 39th (29.26), respectively.
Colin Davis was 56th in the 50-meter freestyle prelims with a time of 23.56.
