BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland swimmers and divers set six H2ounds Invitational records, broke three pool records and set three school records on Sunday alone as the Greyhounds dominated the 2025 event at the Mangione Aquatic Center at the Fitness & Aquatic Center.
Brennan Coyle was named the Men's Swimmer of the Meet,
Cali Fasser picked up Female Diver of the Meet honors, and
Riley Fried earned co-Female Swimmer of the Meet recognition.
The Greyhounds men scored 2,836 points, topping second-place Johns Hopkins by almost 1,700. The Loyola women finished with 2,477 points, more than 1,300 ahead of Rider, which was second.
Ellie Davis set a school and meet record in the women's 1,650 freestyle, winning with a time of 17:08.38, and
Kiernan Leary scored a meet record in the men's portion of the race, swimming 15:25.20.
Joe Hayburn broke his own program, pool and meet record in the 200 backstroke, the second event he turned the trifecta in this week. He swam 1:42.04 in the event on Sunday, which is also a NCAA B Cut time.

Brennan Coyle,
Liam Schindler and
Derek Feldman took down the school standard in the men's 400 freestyle relay, setting pool and meet records in the process, with a time of 2:53.81.
Coyle also earned a pool men's 100 freestyle record in 43.61, and
Riley Fried set a women's 200 butterfly meet mark in 2:02.49.
In the women's 200-yard backstroke,
Lauren Lane led the Greyhounds in the A final, placing third in 2:01.66, with
Natalie Lomonosov close behind in fourth at 2:02.20.
Maeve Brandenburg and
Kelly Bruen rounded out the A final for Loyola, finishing seventh and eighth in 2:04.68 and 2:04.98, respectively.
The women's 100-yard freestyle saw
Gianna Davis sprint to fourth place in the A final with a time of 51.23.
Christine Datovech tied for fifth at 51.96, while Cecilia Van Lierop matched for seventh in 52.12.
Michela Schultz added a ninth-place finish in 52.40, giving Loyola four swimmers in the championship heat.
Loyola dominated the women's 200-yard breaststroke A final, as
Meghan Donovan claimed the title in 2:17.80.
Hannah Oslislo finished fourth in 2:22.80,
Noelle Hoffman took fifth at 2:23.71,
Makenna O'Brien was sixth in 2:24.16, and
Bryce Gold placed eighth in 2:24.92.
In the women's 200-yard butterfly, Fried captured the win in 2:02.49, while
Julia Mason finished third in 2:06.66.
Faith Karr and
Adrianna Caponiti also reached the A final, placing eighth and ninth in 2:11.38 and 2:11.39, respectively.
Loyola's divers shined in the women's 1-meter event, with
Annie Dockx taking first in the A final with a score of 234.45.
Kate Mundorf placed third at 222.50, and
Cali Fasser was fourth with 218.40.
On the men's side, Hayburn set a meet and pool record in the 200-yard backstroke, winning the A final in 1:42.04.
JD Moyer finished second in 1:46.22,
Ben Schlotterer was fourth in 1:47.60, Patrick Ciorna placed seventh in 1:50.52, and
Josh Stegner took ninth in 1:51.46.
The men's 100-yard freestyle featured a Loyola sweep in the A final, as Coyle won in 43.61, followed by Feldman in second at 43.92,
Colin Davis in third at 44.42, and
Liam Schindler in fourth at 44.47.
Loyola's men continued their success in the 200-yard breaststroke, with
Michael Venit winning the A final in 1:58.27.
Kaden Fatta was third in 2:00.80,
Floyd Conlin finished fourth in 2:02.65, and
Elias Corn took fifth in 2:03.56.
In the men's 200-yard butterfly,
Luke Dwyer claimed victory in 1:46.83.
Cameron Shinnick placed third in 1:48.20,
Gavin Abelende was fourth in 1:48.90,
Owen Glaser finished fifth in 1:49.15,
Timmy King took sixth in 1:49.48,
JD Moyer was eighth in 1:50.80, and
Hayden Bartz rounded out the A final in ninth at 1:50.83.
Loyola's men's divers also reached the podium in the 3-meter event, with
Thomas McCarthy finishing second in the A final with a score of 275.65 and
Sam Hersick placing third at 270.35.
The women's 400-yard freestyle relay saw Loyola's A team of
Christine Datovech,
Michela Schultz,
Gianna Davis, and
Haley Robinson finish second in 3:24.79. In the men's 400-yard freestyle relay, the Loyola A squad of Hayburn, Coyle, Schindler, and Feldman set a meet and pool record, winning in 2:53.81.
