BOSTON –
Kat Zysk and
Kiera Udell had top-10 finishes on Saturday for the Loyola University Maryland women's track and field team as the Greyhounds competed at the Boston College Showdown.
Zysk took sixth in the 800 meters, running 2:19.75, and Udell was eighth in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:18.14 as the Greyhounds finished up two days of competition of the meet.
Udell led four Greyhounds in the 3,000.
Kasey Boag was 12
th in 10:47.53, and McKenzie Newman took 15
th (10:53.30), while Kyle Maddalena was 21
st (11:20.00).
Zysk was the first out of three Loyola runners in the 800, leading
Meghan Leonard (15
th, 2:22.92) and
Claire Dalsass (20
th, 2:26.58).
Maeve Lowther paced Loyola in the mils, finishing 13
th in 5:14.42.
Talia Banafato was 25
th in the event, clocking 5:37.10.
Loyola raced two 4x400-meter relay teams on Saturday.
Mia Maselli,
Lauryn Clarke, Zysk and
Nicolette Militi took sixth in 4:01.58, while
Elizabeth Gallagher,
Claire Dalsass, Leonard and
Julia Baguiao ran 4:11.52 for eighth.
