EASTON, Pa. – Freshman
Patrick Cropsey finished tenth with a time of 26:59.49 to lead the Loyola University Maryland men's cross country team to a fourth place finish at Lafayette College's Leopard Invitational on Saturday morning.

Marist won the men's meet with 15 points, edging host Lafayette for the title. The Leopards had 70 points. Saint Joseph's took third place with 70 points while Loyola finished fourth with 103 points. Pace University (151) and Keystone College (178) finished fifth and sixth.

Cropsey was Loyola's top finisher for the fourth time in as many meets this season.

In the women's race, senior
Courtney Wallace finished 24
th in the race with a time of 25:11.82. The Loyola women's team took fifth place in a seven-team field.

Senior Andrew Buchholz finished 28
th in the men's meet for Loyola with a time of 27:54.62. Sophomore
Brandon Rossi was 32
nd (28:08.03), just ahead of Samuel Williams, who was 34
th (28:11.23).

Nathan Galloway was 35
th in the race (28:14.37), just ahead of senior
Tyler Schoch, who was 37
th (28:21.50).

Colin Chandler rounded out the Loyola contingent by finishing 49

In the women's race, Marist also finished first with 15 points, edging the host Leopards who had 54 points. Lehigh took third place with 87 points and Saint Joseph's was fourth with 107 points. Loyola was fifth in the competition with 140 points, ahead of Pace (186) and Keystone (200).

nd in the race for Loyola with a time of 26:21.10. Junior
Grace Jansson ran 45
th in the race with a time of 26:20.08.

A trio of freshmen completed Loyola's entries.
Sydney Votruba was 54
th with a time of 27:21.22.
Hope Pinsonault finished 57
th with a time of 27:38.83 while Caitlin O'Hehin placed 58
th at 28:07.65.

Both the Loyola men's and women's cross country teams return to action on October 27 when they compete in the Patriot League Meet at Bucknell University.
