LEWISBURG, Pa. – Led by freshman
Patrick Cropsey and senior
Christina Daniels, the Loyola University Maryland men's and women's cross country each finished ninth at the Patriot League Championships at Bucknell University on Saturday.

The men's team edged Colgate University for ninth place by beating the Raiders by one point. The women's team also topped Colgate to take ninth.

Army West Point won the men's championship for the second-consecutive year. Host Bucknell won its fourth-straight title and now leads all Patriot League teams with 12 women's championships.

Cropsey led the men's team by taking 47
th place with a time of 27:45.3; the freshman has been the Greyhounds' top runner in every meet this season.
Brandon Rossi was the second-best runner for Loyola, finishing 53
rd with a time of 28:03.3.

Nathan Galloway was close behind Rossi, placing 58
th with a time of 28:20.0, and another freshman,
Jake Fowler, finished in 65
th place (28:36.6), while sophomore
Sam Miller was 66
th (28:44.0).

Tyler Schoch placed 67
th with a time of 28:45.8 while senior
Alex Buchholz was 69
th with a time of 29:05.3.

In the women's race, Daniels was the top runner for the Greyhounds as she finished 46
th with a time of 23:22.6. Junior
Kayleigh Caggiano was close behind as she finished 48
th in 23:26.2.

st (23:42.6) just ahead of freshman Grayce Heineman (23:45.1).

Tara Ryan ran 54
th in the race (23:50.7) while junior
Audrey O'Neill was 58
th (24:06.3). Senior
Gabrielle Silvestri was 61
st with a time of 24:14.1.

Courtney Wallace (24:34.0),
Kelly Williamson (24:48.5), Kate Raggone (25:03.0) and
Grace Jansson (25:07.4) also ran for the Greyhounds.

The Greyhounds return to action on Friday, November 9 when they compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic regional meet at Penn State University at 11:00 a.m.
