STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland cross country wrapped up its 2018 season Friday as the Greyhounds competed at the 2018 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Penn State University's Blue and White Course.

Nathan Galloway led the Greyhounds men's team, which finished 24
th, with 110
th-place finish, while
Kayleigh Caggiano was the top runner for the Loyola women in 135
th. The women's side took 25
th overall.

Caggiano ran 23:45 to pace five women's runners who finished within 25 placed of each other for the Greyhounds.
Christina Daniels and
Mary Sutton ran the final cross-country race of their Loyola careers, taking 143
rd (23:52) and 151
st (24:04), respectively.

Audrey O'Neill placed 157
th two seconds behind Sutton, while
Grayce Heinemann rounded out the Greyhounds' scoring in 160
th (24:12).
Tara Ryan and
Gabrielle Silvestri also competed for Loyola, finishing 171
st (24:24) and 179
th (24:41).

Galloway was the top finisher for the men, running 33:58 on the 10,000-meter course to finish 110
th.
Patrick Cropsey was close behind, finishing 121
st in 34:11.

Jake Fowler,
Brandon Rossi and Samuel Miller finished within four spots of each other, crossing the line in 145
th (35:12), 147
th (35:16) and 149
th (35:32), respectively.
Alex Buchholz and
Tyler Schoch competed for Loyola, too, running 156
th (36:01) and 159
th (36:45).
