The Loyola University Maryland women's track and field team posted multiple strong performances Friday at the JMU Invitational, highlighted by a school-record showing in the 4x100-meter relay at Sentara Park.

The Greyhounds' top relay of Lauryn Clarke, Maddie Van Haren, Gabby Snowden and Caroline Blakeslee placed second overall in the 4x100, running a school-record time of 46.51 seconds. Loyola also fielded a 'B' relay of Olivia Dever, Jane Mazzeo, Leanely Cruz and Mia Maselli that finished sixth in 48.30 seconds.

Clarke added a fourth-place finish in the 100 meters, clocking 11.86 seconds, which stands as the seventh-fastest time in program history. Snowden placed 12th in the event in 12.45, while Mazzeo (12.65), Julia Baguiao (12.72), Cruz (12.91) and Maselli (13.01) rounded out Loyola's entries. In the 110-meter hurdles, Cruz posted a personal-best 14.77 seconds, marking the fourth-fastest time in school history. Elizabeth Vigliotti (16.48) and Jolie Kaoma (17.64) also competed.

In the 200 meters, Snowden finished ninth in 25.13 to become the third-fastest sprinter in the 200 in Loyola history; Clarke was 13th in 25.30 and Mazzeo placed 22nd in 26.03. Additional finishers included Ellisa Sadler (26.29), Baguiao (26.41), Nicolette Militi (26.60), Kaoma (26.70) and Chelsea Ayitey-Adjin (28.03).

In the 400 meters, Blakeslee turned in a personal-best 57.17 to place fifth, also making her fthe fifth-fastest performer in the event in school history.. Dever took 10th in 59.30, Katrina Zysk finished 14th in 59.87, and Claire Dalsass crossed in 17th at 1:01.14. In the 400-meter hurdles, Vigliotti placed fifth with a personal-best 1:04.50, followed by Lauren Gerow in sixth (1:05.31) and Meghan Leonard in 10th (1:08.07).

Loyola posted strong results in the 800 meters, led by Claire Griffin's seventh-place finish in 2:17.14. Zoe Keefe ran a personal-best 2:20.97 to place 12th, while Stella Mische (2:26.46) and Talia Banafato (2:39.91) also competed. In the 1,500 meters, Maeve Lowther finished ninth in 4:54.95, Abigail Arseneau placed 13th with a personal-best 5:04.24, Selah Decatur was 15th in a personal-best 5:07.53, Madelyn Hyde finished 19th in 5:17.60, and Alaina Bromley placed 23rd in 5:41.59.

The Greyhounds were also active in the longer distances. Kayla Hayes won the women's 3,000 meters in 10:27.99. Mackenzie Newman finished sixth in 11:03.96, and Sarah Teed took 12th in 12:05.34.

Loyola closed the meet with three entries in the 4x400-meter relay. The 'A' relay of Griffin, Dalsass, Zysk and Militi placed sixth overall in 4:03.96. The 'B' team of Cruz, Mische, Keefe and Lowther finished eighth in 4:11.84, while the 'C' relay of Bromley, Arseneau, Decatur and Hyde placed ninth in 4:16.34.

Several men's cross country runners also competed at the event: Will Lancaster ran personal-best times in both the 800 meters (2:01.80) and 1,500 meters (4:09.18), while Callaway Lipkin added a personal-best 4:10.62 in the 1,500. Matthew Bradley won the men's 3,000 meters in 9:01.85, and Christian Zawislack placed third in 9:19.86.
