BRONX, N.Y. – The Loyola University Maryland men's cross country team finished 19
th overall – and was second out of five Patriot League teams – at the ECAC/IC4A Championships at Van Courtland Park.
The Greyhounds' women's team took 32
nd on its 6,000-meter course. The meet was the last for both the men's and women's teams before the October 29 Patriot League Championships that will be held in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
Nathan Galloway came in 69
th with at time of 25:35.6 to lead the men's team, which came in ahead of teams from Lafayette, Bucknell and Colgate.
Camden Spring was the second Loyola runner across the finish line, taking 141
st in 26:21.8 on the 8,000-meter course.
Evan Alander was 164
th (26:39.0) and
Dillon Harding finished 187
th (26:51.2) to give Loyola four in the top 200 of the race.
Patrick Cropsey was the team's No. 5 scorer in 221
st (27:14.1), finishing just in front of
Ethan Ginyard (234
th, 27:14.0) and
Evan Skurat (235
th, 27:14.1).
