Men 8th, Women 10th at Patriot League Cross Country Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Loyola University Maryland men's cross country team finished eighth, and the women were 10th at the 2022 Patriot League Championships on Saturday.
 
Isabella Coleman led the women's team with a 38th-place finish, while Nathan Galloway led the men in 42nd. Coleman ran 22:34.8 over the 6,000-meter course, and Galloway finished the 8,000-meter race in 26:02.0.
 
Evan Alander crossed the line in 51st (26:11.1), and Dillon Harding was 57th (26:24.3). Dylan Jock finished 78th (27:05.7), while Patrick Cropsey took 82nd (27:13.9) and Evan Skurat was 85th (27:23.5).
 
Ethan Ginyard (27:36.2, 91st), Connor Rebele (27:46.0, 93rd), Ailin Oberlies (27:55.4, 95th), Tyler Vega (28;12.1, 99th) and Bryan Hickman (28:50.6, 108th) rounded out the Loyola men's contingent at the meet.
 
Carly Spinnler and Maeve Lowther finished just over a second apart for the women's team, taking 85th (24:11.3) and 86th (24:12.5), respectively. Meghan Leonard (24:27.1, 90th), Kasey Boag (24:58.1, 91st) and Sammie Spargo (24:58.5, 92nd) were the next pack of the Greyhounds runners, followed by Norah Affanato (25:32.3, 97th), Maddie Hyde (25:49.6, 100th) and Colette Lindley (25:49.8, 101st).
 
The Greyhounds will race again on Friday, November 11, at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in State College, Pennsylvania.
